With over 100 sponsors for the mega event and 25 participating government hotel management institutes from across 20 states, under one roof, Amaranth-2014 was an event of epic proportions- a fest that will be cherished by not only the Pusaites but also the participating teams and all those who witnessed the event as well.

Inaugurating the event Chief guest of the day- Sh. Jual Oram Ji, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India declared the fest open. He appreciated the IHM Pusa’s effort to bring the all IHMs in one roof which by any means will increase the opportunities in hospitality sector

December 13 the theme dinner party:

The day was devoted to Red and Black Theme inspired by the annual carnival of Goa, which had a host of delectable dishes and stimulating mocktails to offer to the guests

December 14: The Closing ceremony

A magnificent closing cum awards ceremony was organized on the eve of 14th December, 2014 with Dr. Lalit K. Panwar, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India as the chief guest for the final day who appreciated the contribution of the institute in hospitality education and announced to arrange additional land for the new campus at Dwarika.

The extravaganza had the theme “Nirbhaya-The One Who Dares” as their cynosure for all the performances, commemorating the second anniversary of the brutal death of Delhi’s Braveheart. The last power-packed performance of Durga slaying Mahisasura by the students of IHM Pusa won the most applauds
Rising star:
Dr. R.K. Gupta, Dean, IHM Pusa presented the vote of thanks to the guest of honour, the teams and faculty of the participating institutes for gracing the event. Amaranth 2014 has set a new benchmark for all the fests happening in India. All participating students and institutes were appreciative and keep saying that they have never seen a fest at this bang. Overall the event was a great success.
