IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Criteria 2020 - Indian Institute of Management, Bodh Gaya has announced the admission policy of PGP batch for 2020 – 20 session. This is going to be the third PGP batch of this 16th IIM to be established. IIM Calcutta is currently monitoring the admission policies of IIM Bodh Gaya. As per the IIM Bodh Gaya selection criteria 2020-20, there have been some changes in the admission weightage and parameters which will be applied for shortlisting the candidates for further round of selection after CAT. IIM Bodh Gaya has been able to establish itself as a top reputed B – school of the country. The management institute follows the pedagogy as of IIM Calcutta. In other words, the students studying at IIM Bodh Gaya have the same curriculum as the student of IIM Calcutta. And the faculty of IIM Calcutta also teaches the students of IIM Bodh Gaya.
As per IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Criteria 2020-20, first the candidates are required to take Common Admission Test, which is scheduled to be conducted on 26th November 2020. IIM Bodh Gaya admission policy 2020 further includes that the candidates will be selected for the further rounds for the admission which will be based on their performance in CAT 2020. The shortlisted candidates will then be awarded points as per their academic record, gender, work experience and other attributes as defined in IIM Bodh Gaya admission criteria 2020. The institute will assign weights to the candidates on each criterion for final score calculation. It is very important for the aspirants to understand the admission process of IIM Bodh Gaya for 2020 – 20 session. These selected candidates will then be called for written ability test and personal interview. As per the IIM Bodh Gaya admission norms 2020, based on the performane in written ability test and personal interview, the final score of the candidates will be calculated. There has been no significant difference in the IIM Bodh Gaya 2020 cutoff and is it similar to the one like last year. Though in case of SC and ST students’ category, the initial cutoff was higher which was released by the institute. Talking about the IIM Bodh Gaya sectional cutoff percentile, it was 50 for ST and 60 for SC category candidates. The final cutoff for SC was 75 and for ST category candidates were 65.
The candidates, who will be shortlisted in CAT examination, will be then called for next round of admission process. The IIM Bodh Gaya selection process will include writing ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI).

The past academic diversity and past academic records of a candidate aren’t taken into consideration, unlike last year. The weightage given to personal interview and CAT score too has been increased to 20 which were 15 earlier. Moreover, two points are given for gender diversity, while only one point used to be given earlier.

A candidate belonging to general category needs to score at least 90 which is the minimum percentile and 80 in sectional percentile in CAT 2020. The institute will not consider any student for the next rounds if s/he fails to meet out the minimum percentile criteria. In the same way, the candidates who belong to SC NC – OBC category are required to score an overall percentile of 75 and 55 in sectional percentile. According to the admission policy of IIM Bodh Gaya 2020-20, SC, ST and DA candidates need to score 55, 35 and 35 respectively.
The institute will only consider the students who have been able to score the percentile mentioned in the table above in CAT 2020 in all the categories. Candidates need to remember that there may be difference between the overall percentile and actual section wise as it may much higher than the criteria mentioned in the table above.
Based on the table given below, the final score of a candidate is calculated for selection. The table also shows the IIM Bodh Gaya selection criteria and the weightages which are to be utilized in the final selection of candidates for PGP 2020 – 20 batch.

From the above mentioned table, we can see that personal interview is given highest weightage. And female candidates will get 2 points which is done to increase the female candidates in the classroom. Moreover, this is to increase the gender diversity in the management programs.
The institute will award six points for work experience, which depends on the length of the service indicated at the time of filing the CAT registration form online. The institute will only consider the managerial work experience after the graduation of the candidate. The institute will consider any project/training/work done as part of curriculum.

The selection list prepared as final list will depend on merit in each of the category; minimum qualification on the above mentioned criteria would not automatically qualify the candidate for selection into IIM Bodh Gaya.
IIM Bodh Gaya will follow the Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Education Institutions (CEIs).
The first step for the section process will be CAT cut off for selection process. Only those candidates, who will be able to satisfy the IIM cut off 2020, will be considered for the next phases of admission. IIM Bodh Gaya was established in 2015 under IIM Calcutta’s mentorship. At present, the institute is being operated from Magadh University Campus. In coming time, the institute is supposed to shift to 118 acres campus permanently. It offers post graduate diploma in management to the MBA aspirants.
