The 4^th convocation at Indian Institute of Management - Rohtak (IIM-R) was a time for jubilation for 152 students who received their Post Graduate Diplomas for Management from the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr Ravi Kant (Former Chairman, Tata Motors Ltd). The ceremony was held at the Tagore auditorium in the current host campus.

The convocation was attended by Prof. P. Rameshan (Director, IIM Rohtak), Chairman and other members of the Board of Governors, members of the IIM Rohtak Society, faculty and other dignitaries. Chief Guest Dr. Janmejaya Kumar Sinha (Chairman, Boston Consulting Group, Asia Pacific), who is the current Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) committee on financial inclusion and member of their national council, delivered the Convocation Address. Dr. Sinha is the Co-author of the book 'Own the Future: 50 Ways to Win from The Boston Consulting Group'.

Dressed in their graduation gowns and hats, the students could be seen reminiscing about their days at IIM Rohtak and discussing their ambitious plans for the future. The families of the students were also visibly proud of the achievements of their loved ones. The students took this opportunity to bid a final farewell to the Institute and to their junior batch.

IIM Rohtak confers two awards of excellence each year upon meritorious students. The Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance was awarded to Mr. Rajat Lakhina, and the Gold Medal for Best All Round Performance was awarded to Mr. Akshat Modi.
