The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Vishakhapatnam has recorded a 100% summer placement for its PGP 2015-17 batch putting an end to the speculation of whether the industry would accept the newest batch of the recently opened institute.

The very first placement process was concluded with 33 top notch companies recruiting 48 participating students from the batch of 49. IIM Vishakhapatnam (IIMV) is one the 6 newly established IIMs. IIMV is mentored by IIM Bangalore (IIM-B).

The placement process consisted of two phases; the first phase was jointly processed by IIM Bangalore and IIM Vishakhapatnam which was conducted in the first week of November 2015. From the batch, 31 students were selected in the respective phase.
