Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar has issued a notification regarding admission to its M.Tech Programme for the academic year 2015-2020.

The online application forms were made available on March 13, 2015 and will continue up till April 3, 2015.

Various disciplines include; Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biological Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. The M.Tech curriculum at IIT Gandhinagar has been carefully prepared to be highly creative and competitive with a focus on interdisciplinary skills and high quality thesis work.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Aspirants must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5/10 in B.E. /B.Tech or equivalent in appropriate branches (50% marks for SC /ST)
• Aspirants should have a valid GATE score (at the time of interview/written test)
• B.Tech graduates from the IITs with CGPA/CPI of 8.0 or above (on scale of 10) would be exempted from GATE scores.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates are selected on the basis of a written test and interview conducted by IIT Gandhinagar. The Institute will invite a limited number of

candidates for the written test and interview based on the academic records and/or GATE score. Eligible candidates admitted to full-time M.Tech programme will be entitled to a monthly scholarship of Rs 8,000.

The written test/personal interview is scheduled to be conducted between May  8 – May 11, 2015.
