Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2012: Eligibility, Application Procedure, Test Centres & Important Dates

About Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2012

Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is an entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh University, Vishakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE). The ICET exam is conducted for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses in universities and colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility for ICET 2012

  • You should not be more than 21 years of age.
  • You should be an Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date. 
  • If you are not an Indian National, you should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned. 
  • If you have qualifying degree through Distance Education, it should be recognised by a joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC
  • You can apply for ICET 2012, if you are appearing for the final year degree examination.

Eligibility for MBA

  • You should have passed Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) from a recognised university.

Eligibility for MCA

  • You should have passed Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) from a recognised university.
  • You should have Mathematics as main subject at 10+2 level.

Application Procedure for ICET 2012  

  • You can apply for ICET 2012 by obtaining application form from Head Post Offices in A.P., Post offices located on the University Campuses and Designated Branches of Axis Bank in A.P. by paying Rs. 250/- in cash.
  • You can submit your duly filled ICET 2012 application form (placed in the printed cover supplied) along with relevant documents and demand draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, APSCHE” payable at Hyderabad by Speed-Post or Registered Post or deliver in person to

  • ICET 2012 application forms sent other than Registered, Speed-Post or in person will not be accepted by the Convener.
  • ICET 2012 application forms received after the specified date and time and incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected.
  • You can also apply for ICET 2012 by filling an online application form on official website of ICET (http://www.icetku2012.net/icet_index.php).
  • You can submit your ICET 2012 application form online. 
  • You can send a copy of the downloaded ICET 2012 application form along with the Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, APSCHE” payable at Hyderabad to:

 Commencement of Sale of Application Forms

 24th February, 2012

 Last Date for Sale and Receipt of Applications without late fee

 29th March, 2012

 With a late fee of Rs.500/- through Demand Draft

 9th April, 2012

 With a late fee of Rs.2000/- through Demand Draft

 16th April, 2012

 Date and Time of Entrance Test (ICET-2012)

 18th May, 2012 (10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
