The counselling of IPU CET 2020 has started from 13 June 2020. The online registration and payment of fee can be made for the counselling process for the 2020-18 academic year. The participation fee can be paid online or offline as per the candidate’s convenience.  Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will conduct the IPU CET 2020 counselling process for the admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes and to the engineering institutes which are affiliated to it.

The registration deadline for GGSIPU was from June 16 to June 19. The last date for online fee payment, registration, verification of reserved category certificates was until 21 June, 20 June and 22 June respectively. The result for IPU CET 2020 was published on 2 June for all B.Tech programmes, along with the result for B.Tech Bio-Technology. Registration is mandatory for all the CET candidates for the process of counselling 2020 of IPU CET.

IPU CET 2020 counselling will be held online which includes the process of online registration, choice filling, document verification and seat allotment for the aspirants who have qualified IPU CET 2020.  The counselling of IPU CET 2020 is being conducted in 3 rounds with open house and spot round. Applicants are required to attend the counselling of IPU CET 2020 on the basis of their ranks in IPU CET. Candidates need to fill the choices and submit their documents for verification before seat allotment.

IPU CET Counselling 2020 ​Registration:

The candidate has to pay the participation fee for the counselling of IPU CET 2020. If the candidate had made the transaction through Challan, then they are requested to register after two working days of payment done in any branch of Indian Bank. The candidates should enter their CET details in the admission website and after authentication, the candidates should fill up their personal/academic/contact details. The candidate will be provided with a login id and password in which the candidate can change the password if they want. The details can be edited if there are any mistakes/issues before finally submitting the form. Candidates are advised to take out 2 printed copies of the admit card so that they can submit one at the time of document verification and one in hand for future references.

IPU CET Counselling 2020 ​Choice Filling:

The choice filling is compulsory for the allotment of seats. The candidates should fill the choices or preferences to make the application valid. Once the time allotted for the choice filling is finished, the given choices will be considered for the allotment of seats. Candidates can fill as many choices as they want as there is no restriction in the choice filling. Once the choices are filled, the candidate has the options to edit/modify/add/delete the choices that he/she has made.

IPU CET Counselling 2020 Allocation of Seats:

The Candidates can check their allotment after login into their respective profiles and can print the Provisional Allotment letter. After the allotment of seat, the candidates should pay the part admission fee of INR 40,000 to confirm the allotment and admission. Failure in the payment of fee can be considered as a void. The candidate should take the fee receipt from the website which is required at the time of verification and admission.
