Jamia Millia Islamia Mass Communication Entrance Exam 2020: Eligibility and Test Centres

Jamia Millia Islamia University has intimated about the Jamia Mass Communication Entrance Exam 2020 eligibility criteria and test centres. The University conducts the entrance exam to grant admission to various mass communication programmes. The applications for the same have to be submitted by April 21, 2020.

 

 

The candidates seeking admission to Jamia’s mass communication programmes 2020 can apply in online mode through the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia University. The candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form.

Eligibility Criteria for Jamia Mass Communication Entrance Exam 2020:

MA (Mass Communication):

The candidate must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline at least 50% passing marks.

MA (Convergent Journalism) (Self-Financed):

The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream with minimum of 50% passing marks.

PG Diploma in Journalism (Hindi Medium) (Self-Financed):

The application must have possessed 45% marks in their graduation with working knowledge in Hindi.

PG Diploma in TV Journalism (Hindi Medium) (Self-Financed):

The candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.

PG Diploma in Broadcast Technology (Self-Financed):

The candidate must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/IT/BCA or Engineering with at least 50% marks from a recognised institute, college or university. Also, he/she must have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

PG Diploma in Still Photography & Visual Communication (Self-Financed):

Graduate in any discipline who have obtained at least 50% passing marks in graduation is eligible for the respective programme.

PG Diploma in Acting (Self-Financed):

Candidate seeking admission to PG Diploma in Acting must have possessed a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university.

Certificate in Photography (Self-Financed/Part-time):

Applicant must have obtained at least 40% marks at 10+2 level.

BA (Hons) (Mass Media Hindi):

The applicant must have secured minimum 50% marks in 10+2.

PG Diploma in Urdu Mass Media:

The candidate must have scored minimum 55% marks in Urdu/Persian/Arabic in 10+2.
