After tremendous success of their first Jaypee Youth Parliament, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) is all set to organise the second edition of youth parliament on 21-22 November.

Youth Parliament is a simulation of real Parliament, intended to make students aware of the proceeding and rules of parliament this is a noble endeavour to ensure that students also become aware citizens. 

While last year both Upper as well as Lower houses were simulated, with ‘Curb on Black Money’ being the agenda in Lok Sabha and ‘India’s Foreign Policy’ in Rajya Sabha. This time organising committee is going bolder by simulating Jammu and Kashmir’s Legislative Assembly with the agenda being ‘Demilitarisation of Kashmir’.  This is surely a highly contentious topic and it would be really intriguing to have the views of nation’s future leaders, businessman,employees and entrepreneurs on it.

Not being parochialist, a Lok Sabha committee is also being organised with the topic being ‘Rising Extremism in India’, now considering the present situation in our country there couldn’t have been a better time to have this topic as agenda.
