Getting admission in one of the best engineering colleges is dream of every student who wants to pursue a course in engineering after passing 12th. JEE Main exam is the gateway to top engineering colleges in India. Engineering aspirants need to have knowledge of the list of JEE Main 2020 participating institutes to apply for admission at right college. Every year 31 NIITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) are the fixed institutes, which accept JEE Main score. Apart from these, there are a few private engineering colleges that accept JEE Main score. Candidates who clear JEE Main 2020 will be eligible to apply for admission at any of the participating engineering institutions. Apart from JEE Main score 2020, candidates will also have to meet the specified eligibility criteria of the college they applying for admission. Candidates who qualify JEE Main 2020 and want to score admission at any of 74 engineering institutions (NITs, IITs and GFTIs) will have to go through a common counselling process - JOSAA 2020. The JoSAA came into existence in 2015 with an aim to conduct the JEE main counselling and joint seat allocation procedure for admission to NITs/IIITs/GIFTs and IITs.

Admission Criteria of JEE Main Participating Colleges 2020

Candidates who applied for JEE Main 2020 to get admission in India's premium engineering colleges will get admission in NITs, IITs, IIITs and GFTIs through All India Rank (AIR). Apart from getting a rank in JEE Main 2020, candidates also need to fulfill other admission related eligibility criteria like Passing class XII or any other equivalent exam with minimum 75% marks or to be in the top 20 percentile. Candidates who want to take admission in BE/ B.Tech or B.Arch courses through JEE Main 2020 need to pass the below given qualifying examination in specified subjects.
