Gokul Shrinivas from
Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore has emerged as a rising star in the field of innovation and brought laurels to the institute by being ranked second in a list featuring the best innovators in India in a renowned event, Make in India, which was conducted at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
IIT, Bombay had a hackathon scheduled, where top 30 innovations were selected in every corner of the country to present their innovative works in IIT, Bombay.
Those top 30 innovators were instructed to build their innovations. From the final list, top 2 innovators will be selected and those 2 innovators will present their innovation at MMRDA Grounds in front of the country government officials, financiers, Industries, global media and all.
Gokul Shrinivas (Me) from Electronics and Communication Department had been selected initially in the top 30 list and finally he has been selected as among the top two innovators, for his two projects Vehicle Violation Detector and the
Open Energy Monitor.
