Came up with a good cause the F14 batch of Loyola Institute of Business Administration spent three days visiting villages in and around Chengalpet and studying the prevailing social, economic and political conditions there. They had the opportunity to personally interact with the villagers and learn about their experiences. The students also conducted medical camp for the people there. It was a weekend well spent and reflected upon.
As India is still on the path of development, there is large number of people living below the poverty line. Healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights are the main issues incorporated with these people what is the main concern for the Government.
The main reason is people are illiterate and lack of education leads to unemployment. These people are mostly unemployed or daily wage workers who cannot even afford basic necessities of life.
For the overall growth of a nation everyone should get the proper and grass root level education. For an emerging and developing country like India child education holds the key to growth of the nation.
Like LIBA, every college should come up with this kind of new ideas to serve the nation. This way we can get a practical experience of what they are going through and can find a common solution to short it out or to help them to be educated.
