Lucknow University Invites Applications for Tourism Courses

The Institute of Tourism Studies under the University of Lucknow invites applications for admissions in two undergraduate level courses, two diploma courses and two postgraduate courses for the academic session 2020-17.

Two courses at the undergraduate level are BBA in Tourism and Bachelors in Hotel Management. Diploma courses are offered in International Air ticketing and Computerised Reservation System (DIAT & CRS) and Diploma in Food Production. Whereas, courses at the postgraduate level include Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) core and Master of Tourism and Travel Management (Event Management).

Candidates can easily access and download the application forms for diploma and degree courses from the official website of the Lucknow University. The university advises all the candidates to fill in the forms accurately and neatly. Latest photo of the candidate needs to be pasted on the space specified for the same on the application form other than attaching the self-attested photocopies of the documents desired.

With the application form, candidates need to attach a demand draft, which is of INR 1,000 for general and OBC category and INR 500 for SC and ST candidates who wish to take admission in the postgraduate degree courses. For courses at undergraduate level, candidates belonging to the general and OBC categories need to attach the demand draft of INR 800 with the application form whereas SC and ST candidates INR 400.

The application fee is accepted in the form of a demand draft in favour of ‘ITS LU Admission’ payable at Lucknow. Candidate must duly fill in the form, attach the relevant documents and the demand draft and post/courier/hand deliver to:

Candidates applying for undergraduate degree and diploma courses must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from the recognized board of school education. Similarly, those applying for postgraduate courses must have completed graduation in any stream. The last date for the sale of forms is 20th May 2020. The screening tests will be held between 1st and 5th June 2020. The final list will be announced on 15th June 2020.
