India is a land of contradictions. There is a growing awareness of the gap between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have not’s’. There is also a gradual realization that we need to create a sustainable environment. Social issues like women empowerment, reducing of child mortality, promoting education and skilling youth and the combating of various diseases also need to be addressed if India has to maximize its potential and become a leading power in the world.

To get the Corporates involved in the efforts to ameliorate these ills, the Government has passed a CSR mandate under the Companies Act 2013. However, Corporates still need clarity in the understanding and implementation of the CSR mandate and it is in this context, Don Bosco Institute of Technology – MMS, intends on having an event whose theme is : "Making CSR Work - What does a Company need to know?" 

There will be a host of eminent speakers covering a variety of topics relevant to the theme. Mr. Sai Venkateshwaran, Partner &  Head - Accounting Advisory Services, KPMG will be the Chief Guest. Other speakers to facilitate this event include:
