Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, is glad to announce the workshop that the college authorities will be organising.

It will be a 2 day- session on APP development on the Android platform. The session would be held for the B.tech, 3rd Year students from the computer science and IT branches as well as MCA 2nd Year batch.

The workshop was to be conducted on the 27th and 28th of September tentatively this year.

The topics to be covered in the workshop are:

3. About Mobile Platform
4. Introduction to IBM Worklight
5. Worklight Client Side Development Basics
6. Worklight Environment
7. Worklight Server Side Development Basics (Adapters)
8.Advanced Worklight features
9. Hands-on Mobile App Development
10. Mobile App Deployment(Enterprise & App store)
 

The attendees must be handy with the following softwares:

1. JDK 1.6 or 1.7 (32 bit and 64 bit)

2. Eclipse Juno SR2 for Java EE Developers (32 bit and 64 bit)

3.Android ADT

4.Android SDK

5. Install SDK Packages(Preferably Android 4.4.2)

6.IBM Worklight        
 

The other pre-requisites for the attendees: HTML, CSS and JS

Hardware requirement:  Systems with minimum Core i3 Processor & 4 GB RAM
