Following the legendry tradition, Mody University being the leading women university in India is celebrating the Founder’s Day (FDC) from January 22-26, 2015.

Apart from this, the Convocation Ceremony and the Republic Day Celebrations would also be held as integral parts of FDC. The Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Law and Management students of Mody University will host a raft of cultural programmes and sporting activities during the five-day symposium.

During its 9th convocation scheduled to be held on January 24, the President Dr. Vishwanath (Vish ) Prasad will present the annual report. The degrees will be conferred upon passing out students from each discipline by the President.

Mody University will be graced by the visit of Arjuna Awardee, Padmashri Ms. Krishna Poonia as Chief Guest for the Annual Sports Day event on January 25, 2015.

Events dates are as below:

Lakshmi-Yajna: January 22, 2015
Convocation day: January 24, 2015
Annual Sports Day: January 25, 2015
The Republic Day Celebrations: January 26, 2015

The republics day celebration is followed by the Poornahuti of Lakshmi-Yagna which will mark the curtains for the five-day summit.

The conclave will be led by Mr R. P. Mody, the founder and chairman of Mody University and Mody School. Members of Board, alumni and other noted dignitaries would also grace the occasion with their esteemed presence.
