The Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi conducts National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2013 for admission into Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course to all recognized institution all over the country commencing in the session 2013-14.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
NATA is conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), it is the final authority for the purpose of fixing norms and standards for architectural institutions and having the necessary expertise to hold a Common Aptitude Test in Architecture.
Eligibility:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in science discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized board of examination.
NATA 2013 Question paper consists of two parts:
Online registration for NATA 2013 began on the 15th Feb 2013. Check official website for further details for NATA 2013.
Important Dates:
NATA shall start from 15th March, 2013 and can be given on any working day till 31st August, 2013. Though you should check with the centres if, they pen late or stop conducting the test before 31st August.
Candidates can check their results on the official website of National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA).
