The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared Class 10th, October examination results. The Secondary Course examination results can be checked on the official website http://www.nios.ac.in/

How to check your results:

1.  Visit the official NIOS website
2.  Click on ‘Examination/ Results’ tab
3.  Click on ‘Result of Oct 2020 Examination including Vocational’
4.  Click on the tab for Secondary Exam results declared on 14th December to get directed to the login page
5.  Enter your 11/12 digit Roll Number and your date of birth in the dd/mm/yyyy format
6.  Click Submit
7.  Your results will be displayed on the screen
8.  Print your results if you wish to keep it for future reference

About NIOS:

NIOS is an “Open School” platform to help students up to pre-degree level. It began as a project by CBSE back in 1979. When the National Policy on Education of 1986 called upon a stronger Open School System, it led to the set up of National Open School (NOS) back in 1989, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). The small scale project of CBSE on Open School was combined with NOS. In 1990, a resolution gave NOS the authority to register, examine and certify students up to pre-degree level courses. In 2002, the nomenclature of NOS was amended by the MHRD to NIOS, National Institute of Open Schooling. The MHRD amended the nomenclature of NOS to the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
