Centre for Journalism & Mass communication, Department of Communication, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalay will organize its 1st National Seminar from November 1-2, 2014. The theme of the Seminar is - Journalism for Positive Change.
Media has a pivotal role in our day today life and society. Involvement of media in social and political issues is essential but it’s over engagement with negative and sensational news and stories is a matter of deep concern. There is a need to ponder over the issues related to media and work out the way towards the Journalism for Positive Change. This Seminar is a humble and a sincere effort in this direction.
