NID 2020 eligibility criteria is a set of conditions that are required to be fulfilled by aspirants in order to become eligible for applying and appearing for NID DAT 2020. NID eligibility criteria include eligibility requirements like educational background, age, qualifying exam and marks, etc. Before applying for the entrance exam for admissions to Bachelor of Design (B. Des) as well as Master of Design (M. Des) at National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, NID Gandhinagar and NID Bengaluru campuses, aspiring candidates must carefully go through the eligibility criteria of NID 2020.

NID 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

B. Des Programme:

Age Limit:  The candidate should be 20 years of age on or before July 1, 2020, (Reserved category candidates will get relaxation of three years in age).

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognised board of education.

M. Des Programme:

Age Limit: Candidate’s upper age limit should be minimum 30 years as on or before July 1, 2020. Candidates belonging to reserved category will get a relaxation of 3 years of age.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the master’s programme must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

The applicant must hold Diploma in Design from a recognised institute of the university.
