Students of Bachelor of Technology of Vel Tech Multi Tech Engineering College, Chennai welcomed Wipro as one of the recruiting companies for aspiring final year candidates on 6^th and 7^th September 2015.

About 1500 students applied for the positions available at the company that not only provided an attractive designation of a software engineer but also a handsome package along with it ranging from 3.2-3.5 lac per annum.

The recruitment process consisted of a written examination which was subjective as well as objective in nature followed by personal interview to assess the student’s aptitude and confidence.

The college will soon be welcoming other top-notch corporate companies to provide a plethora of opportunities to the students.
