What’s your thrill? Is it a TB-20, Zlin, DA-40 and DA-42 or Cessna -152/A, Cessna -172R and multi-engine six-seater aircraft P-68C-TC and Baron G58 or a PIPER PA18?
Flying an aircraft seems like a cool thing to do, but it requires intensive knowledge - of air navigation, operation of sophisticated electronic and mechanical controls, interpretation of meteorological reports, tactics to lead the aircraft under adverse circumstances, and being a leader to the flight crew and passengers under climatic and other emergency situations.
As such, besides the technical know-how, a good pilot should be disciplined, responsible and have good analytical skills and an immense presence of mind.
Getting a pilot license is not easy in India, you will need to go through multiple phases of training and log in a certain amount of flying hours. You can start with a Student Pilot License (SPL) Training course, proceeding to a Private Pilot License (PPL) Training course and finally graduating to a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Training course. You can also train for a Flight Radio Telephone Operator’s License (FRTPL) course, Night Rating raining course, Instrument Rating Training course, Patter Flying Training course, Ground School, RTR(A) & 25 hours Flying course & Hobby Flying course.
