A projects and charts competition was organized by the Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET) as a part of the Open House event on 12^th October at 9am at the JIET campus.

Arun Shanti Education Trust- Managing Trustee, Mr. Shashikant Singhi and Head of the Department of English and Dean of JNVU, Professor Sudhi Rajeev were the chief guests for the Open House-2015. Other dignitaries who were present included JIET Group Chairman Dr. S L Agarwal. 

The theme of the event is ‘Make in India’ and some of the topics for the projects included:

• Smart City
• Environmental Sustainability
• Applications of Science in Society and Environment
• Smart and Energy Efficient Sensor based System
• Android Application
• Future Planning of Jodhpur as a Smart City
• Renewable Energy Resources
