Expressions, the media collective of Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata conducted a Report Writing Workshop on August 25, 2015 and August 26, 2015, an induction programme intending to make aware the college media team (Expressions) about the roots and tricks of the trade.

Mr. Ganguly, an eminent journalist who has left his marks of success across three continents was the key speaker and the guest of honor of the workshop conducted. The induction programme took place at the second floor auditorium also referred to as NCR at the Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC). The commencement of the programme punched the clock by 1:00 PM and lasted upto 2:30 PM.

The tutorial consisted of a PowerPoint presentation, which was set forth of the students on the projector screen to. The induction consisted of briefing of the introduction to media as a whole along with the basics of reporting or rather writing such as K.I.S.S (keep it simple, stupid!). Mr. Ganguly, popularly known as Chawm, recited an allegory pertaining to morals which was the moral of the story. He encouraged and motivated the students of the media collective of BSEC, Expressions.
