Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee has been awarded many times for their esteemed qualities. Once again, it has founded a new milestone in this chain of getting awards. This year, it has been ornamented another jewel, The Best Placement Award by Human Resources Development (HRD) Ministry of India.

Many established Indian companies organized campus recruitment drive in the college. Prestigious Indian Navy has also organized a pool campus recruitment drive in the college. Approximately 94% students have been selected in the prominent companies. In future few more companies are keen to come for the campus drive in RCE.

Within a few days, a team from Baba Atomic Research Center (BARC) will be coming for the student orientation program in RCE. Definitely it is an achievement of the college and it is the outcome of skilled management and the marvelous quality of teaching by esteemed faculty. This is a very first institution to establish itself in the era of technical education. 

C.A.Satyendra Gupta, Chairman RCE, Dr. Gopal Ranjan, Director General and Dr. Pankaj Garg, Director jointly received this award from Shri. Ram SankarKatheriya, Union State minister on 24-01-2015. Getting this award each RCEian is feeling proud him/herself and has been filled with new energy and enthusiasm to work further in future and take this institution to greater heights.
