School of Planning and Architecture: 2014 Admission on

School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal opens admission for 2014 session. SPA has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for Ph. D and PG courses.
 
 
Courses for which admission is offered:
 
  • Master of Planning (urban and regional planning)
  • Master of Planning (environmental planning)
  • Master of Architecture (conservation)
  • Master of Landscape Architecture
  • Master of Urban Design
 
 
Eligibility for Post Graduate Programs in Architecture
 
  • B. Plan with minimum one year of experience or B.Arch. 
  • Both with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
 
Eligibility for both the Master of Planning programs
  • Minimum 55% marks in aggregate in B. Arch. / B. Plan. OR 
  • B. E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering OR 
  • M.Sc. / M.A. in (Geography/ Economics / Sociology)
 
Eligibility for Doctoral Courses:
 
Master’s Degree in Architecture / Planning / Technology/Design disciplines or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks OR 
B.Arch./B.Plan. Degree with minimum 60% marks, minimum five years of professional experience and at least one publication in Journal/ Conference proceedings.

Date of interview & examination for PG Programs

June 17 & 18, 2014

Relaxation:

The admission eligibility requirements of minimum marks may be relaxed to 55% marks to the following categories:

  • SC/ST applicants
  • Any category of Persons with Disabilities
  • Academic staff of the School who has an experience of more than 5 years in addition to the qualifications specified above
 
Fellowship for all Postgraduate Programs:
 
All candidates with valid GATE/NET score will be eligible for Fellowship as per G.O.I. norms.
Candidates without GATE/NET score will be eligible to apply for Institute Fellowship/Research assistantship available from time to time on the basis of merit.
