SPA, Bhopal: Hostel rules for new comers

School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal has started B. Arch & B. Plan 1 year classes from August 4, 2014.
 
SPAB selected candidates for these courses through CSAB-2014 score. Students who have been allotted hostels are hereby requested to adhere the below rules and regulation.
 
 
  • All students MUST return to the college campus by 21:30 hrs. 
  • All Students required to be present at the time of Roll Call at night i.e. 22:30 hrs 
  • Students are advised to make true entry in daily movement register for their movement from hostel. It is a record for emergencies.
  • Entry after 23:00 hrs would be marked as late entry and shall result in a fine of INR 500/- If the regular practice of late entries is followed; it would result in expulsion from the Hostel.
  • Hostel Doors will be closed at 23:00 hrs sharp at night. After 23:00 hrs, no student will be allowed to enter unless parents are informed and permission from respective Hostel Warden is procured. 
  • Students shall not leave the hostel for out of station visits without prior written permission of the Hostel Warden concerned. Students need to submit their out station leave forms to the respective care taker before leaving. Absence from hostel without permission shall result in a fine of INR 500/- and more than two lapses would result in expulsion from the Hostel.
  • Students will be allowed for night out only with the written permission of the respective Hostel Warden and the consent of the parent. For ANY academic group work, permission from the Programme Coordinator/ Subject Coordinator is also required.
  • Students shall be allowed to work in studios till 21:30 hrs. If for any academic reason students want to work beyond 21:30 hrs they need to submit in writing the undertaking in the prescribed format from their respective subject or programme coordinator. Visitors are not allowed to stay inside the hostel after 21:00 hrs unless prior permission from the Hostel Warden. 
  • A student herself / himself is responsible for custody of all her /his belongings. Hostel administration or Institute will not be responsible for any loss. It is advisable to avoid expensive jewellery, cash or other expensive gadgets. 
  • Students will be personally and collectively responsible for any loss or damage to the hostel furniture or other fittings in the common facilities and place in the hostel.
  • Use of personal electrical appliances like heaters, induction plates, hot plates, stoves etc in hostel is strictly prohibited. In case found guilty fine of INR 500/- will be imposed and the appliance shall be confiscated.
