To promote quality research in the field of Architecture, planning and Design, the School of Planning and Architecture is going to publish an international journal "Spandrel" - Journal of SPA, a new dimension in research of environment for living.

The journal revolve around the issues of "Making Cities Smart and Competitive" To mount economy of the country cities development are very essential and the most population of the world lives in towns and cities and this proportion will increase to nearly two-thirds by 2030. The theory of the smart city and competitive are two ideas, which aims to make city advanced by making amelioration in the living atmosphere in cities.

Research papers, articles, discussion & critiques on case studies are invited from academicians. Researchers and practitioners on this broad theme or any of the aspects that this theme entails, including inter alia the following sub-themes:
