Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi celebrated the last day of its annual fest Mehak 2015 on March 3^rd, 2015. The last day had loads of surprise packages from the college like Bharatnatyam and Kathak performances on Bollywood songs. A fashion show from the fashion society was carried out by the college with the theme "love is life". The star performance was given by Punjabi superstar J-Star. There was a huge crowd cheering and enjoying the fest and in all the fest was being a great success and the crowd was eagerly waiting for the star performer.

But all went down in disgrace during the performance of J-Star. During the show, a quarrel between two students lead to a fight between two groups on the stage itself that caused a great mishap in the college and the police had to control the mob and had to charge on them. The groups were controlled and the two miscreants were taken away. J-Star's performance was then withdrawn and he was sent back as a safety measure by the police and the fest ended right there only.

A similar incident struck Mehak 2015 on March 2^nd, when a band, while performing on the stage, had pepper sprayed on them. This is an indication of the failure on the college’s to have proper safety measures for the participants and the performers.
