SRM University is conducting a short term training programme from
June 23-29, 2014.
The program will cover an intensive training on Challenges in Space Technology.
This is meant for teachers of various engineering colleges. Benefits to be obtained in the program include, but not limited to, theoretical knowledge, working with and facing challenges in rocket launch with description of history and failures.

As part of the programme, one-day industrial visit to Sriharikota has been planned for the better understanding of the various facilities at Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota.
Registrations are free. Accommodations will be provided within the campus for outstation members.
