National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur has announced the last date of registration for summer quarter.
As per the announcement all students having backlogs in Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry and Engineering Mathematics are required to register on or before May 21, 2014.
No registration will be entertained after this date. College also said that Hostels would not be available due to renovation work in hostels. They will have to make their own arrangements to stay outside the campus for summer quarter.
If anyone is unable to register for summer quarter, he can also register for Autumn Quarter 2014-15.
Classes will be commenced from May 22, 2014.

Situated in the heart of the rich mineral and industrial belt of Jharkhand State, National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur came to existence in 1960. The college was upgraded to National Institute of Technology on 27 December 2002, and conferred the status of a Deemed University. It is now under the complete control of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, New Delhi since 1 April 2003.
