The members of Rotaract Club of

There were 40 Rotaractors, College faculty members, Administrative Staffs, Dean, Students affairs Prof. Dr. A.K. Jalan sir, Principal Prof. Dr. Asok Kumar Sir and Director Prof. Dr. Parasar Bandyopadhyay Sir involved in this project that took place in the Howrah railway station subway.
The Rotaractors were divided into groups of five and these groups spread inside and nearby Howrah Station area with brooms, banners, brushes, dirt-pickers, movable dustbins, placards, bleaching powder etc. to clean the surrounding areas and also create awareness among the people to support this initiative of social and personal hygiene and help make our country a better place to live in. At the same time they maintained personal hygiene by making use of sterilized gloves, medicated facial masks and aprons.
The best part of the project was the immediate reaction of the public to the action. Various media persons were also their and supported the noble cause.
Seeing the students following this initiative, people refrained from their habit of littering around as a mark of respect to their efforts.
This was how the team had successfully concluded project.
