NSS Society of Shyam Lal College, new Delhi organised a talk on one of the most alarming and hot topics of the universal concern, “Global Warming” on September 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Seminar Hall of the College.

Global Warming is the upsurge of Earth’s average surface temperature due to the effect of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, emanations from burning of fossil fuels or from deforestation, which trap heat that would otherwise escape from Earth.

The talk intended to foster the know-how of Global Warming and solutions to get rid of this. The talk consisted of discussion of various topics covered under global warming like what global warming is, how it is caused, what are the effects and how it should be controlled. Students actively participated in the discussion and put forth their views in regard with the steps to be taken to control global warming.
