Sir J.J College of Architecture, Mumbai

Established in 1913, Sir J.J. College of Architecture is affiliated to University of Mumbai. Department of Architecture & Planning, IIT Roorkee

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has played a crucial role in nurturing students in the areas of science, technology and research. It has 18 academic departments covering Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and Management programmes. The institute is considered amongst the leading institutes in India for providing engineering and technology education. In 1956, the Department of Architecture & Planning was established at IIT, Roorkee. 

Chandigarh College of Architecture

The Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) was set up on 7 August 1961 in Chandigarh, India. It was established to impart education and research in the field of architecture. The college covers the north-western region of India including the states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir as well as the Union Territory of Chandigarh.  It offers a degree of Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), for which it is affiliated to the Panjab University in the Faculty of Design and Fine Arts.

Department of Architecture - NIT, Tiruchirappalli

The Department of Architecture in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli was established in the year 1964. It is one of the 17th National Institutes of Technology recognised by the Government of India. NIT, Tiruchirappalli offers courses in ten branches at the undergraduate level and twenty-one disciplines of Science, Engineering & Technology at the postgraduate level besides PhD in all the departments. The institution boasts of highly qualified faculty members who are specialised in all important branches of architecture.

Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurgaon

Established in 1989, the Sushant School of Art & Architecture (SSAA) is another institute in the list of top architecture colleges in India. The school is recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA). SSAA provides architectural education that encompasses integration of technology and design.
