Located in the Lajpat Nagar area of South Delhi, LSR was established in 1956 by the late Lala Shri Ram in the memory of his wife. 2. Sri Venkateswara College (Venky)

Venky is a co-ed college, located in the heart of South Campus. It is known for being one of the leading colleges of Delhi University in the science, arts and commerce streams. It’s one of the few DU colleges to have recently renovated hostels for both boys and girls on campus. Initially started out as a college to cater to the needs of South Indian students, Venky soon outgrew that as an aim and now holds no reservation for any religious or linguistic minority groups. Admission reservations in Venky are only for those casts which find a place in the central OBC List. The college is also popular for some of the best eating joints in South Campus

3. Jesus and Mary College (JMC)

Built in 1961, JMC, located in the diplomatic area of Chanakyapuri. It is an all girls college offering courses in arts, commerce and mathematics. Known for its lush green lawns and modern infrastructure, JMC is one of few colleges to have no affiliation with Delhi University Student Union and has its own separate online application system. A minority institution by nature, JMC has a 50% reservation for Christian students.
