UCEED 2020 cut off is the minimum marks applicants need to obtain to qualify in the written exam and get a call for the counselling session. UCEED is a common entrance exam for Bachelor of Design programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ). The exam is organized by Indian Institute of Bombay in association with UCEEd. The admission is entirely based on the score and the rank of the candidate in the UCEED 2020. The candidates who secure better marks than the minimum requirement are included in the rank list. To qualify for the next round of admission process which is counselling session, the candidates must score minimum cut-off marks. Cut-off percentage varies for candidates from different categories.
UCEED 2020 cut offs will be prescribed by IIT Bombay. It is the basic requirement for admission to any course in UCEED 2020. The candidates will be given admission in the participating institutes under UCEED 2020. The candidates are expected to meet the minimum mark required for the UCEED 2020 in order to get admission in B.Des. course in the college of their choice. The cutoff marks will be available for the rank list under various categories i.e.; General (Common rank list), Schedule tribe, Scheduled Caste, PWD and Other Backward Class categories. After cut-off list of UCEED 2020 is being published, the UCEED 2020 Counselling will begin.
UCEED 2020 Cut off:
- The cut-offs will be announced to bring down the number of applicants for admission in Colleges Accepting Scores of UCEED 2020
- The candidate should fulfill the eligibility criteria of UCEED 2020 in order to qualify for the UCEED exam 2020.
- It is one of the formal methods to choose the candidates for the counselling rounds and the seat allotment.
- Based on the UCEED 2020 cut off list, the candidates will be selected.
- The number of candidates taking UCEED exam is increasing every year, which has not just increased the competition but has also given a boost to UCEED cut-off.

UCEED 2020 Counselling:
UCEED 2020 Joint Seat Allocation process will be completely based on the candidate's score/ rank in the qualifying examination. Candidates will get a provisional allotment letter mentioning their selection for the admission through UCEED 2020 exam. Selected candidates on getting the provisional allottment letter have to pay Seat Acceptance Fee of INR 60,000 as they will be directed to UCEED payment system.
- The application will be invalid if the candidate failed to pay the fee within the given time. The seats left vacant by such candidates will be filled through other candidates during the next rounds of admission.
- The candidates who are allotted their first choice (of the institute) have the option to either accept (freeze) the seat or deny.
- The candidates who are allotted their second or third choice of institute get a choice to either accept (freeze) the seat allotted or 'Accept with the option' to be considered for upward movement (float) the seats for the next rounds of UCEED 2020 Counselling.
- Once the candidates give their nod for the "Freeze" option, they won't be able to participate in subsequent rounds of allotment.
- If the aspirant selects the 'Float' option, they get an advantage of not just accepting the offered seat but they also give an indication that, if admission to an institute of his/her higher preference is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted institute. These candidates will be given importance in subsequent rounds of admission.
- The candidates who get seats after UCEED counselling process will have to pay the acceptance fee only. Candidates who chose the 'Float' option are not required to pay the seat acceptance fee again.
- Candidates who gave their acceptance to the offered seat will get their acceptance fee adjusted in the intitute fees in which they accept admission. Candidates who denied the offered seat will get their seat acceptance fee back as per the policies of the admitting Institute.
