The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun is inviting application for a walk-in-interview for engaging Project Biologist for a project entitled ‘An Investigation of species occupancy patterns and niche differentiation among sympatric carnivores across varying land use and disturbance regimes in and around Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary, Arunachal Pradesh’ purely on contractual basis for a period of two years. Essential Qualification: Master degree in Zoology/ Wildlife Sciences/Ecology/Environment Sciences/Life Sciences/Forestry with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university

Desirable Qualification: Working experience in field based studies, willingness to work in remote areas and hilly terrain, previous experience of working in North East India

Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules

Remunerations: INR 16000 (consolidated)

The interested candidates are required to report sharp by 9.30 for scrutiny of documents on April 27 2020 which will be followed by an interview at 11 a.m. the candidates should bring the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of educational qualifications, research experience along with certificate of extracurricular activities, date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations etc.
