Mr. Sameer Chapadgaonkan, senior vice president of Rolta India visited G.L.Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management on November 8, 2014.
Rolta India is a very famous multinational company which operates from over 40 locations worldwide through its subsidiaries. It was founded in 1989 with its headquarter in Mumbai,India. Rolta India is effectively progressing in the field of photogrammetry, intelligent 3D city models, enterprise solutions as Rolta Oneview enterprise suite, Rolta Smart Migrate. It also deals with the 3D design and modeling for various engineering purposes.
Highlights:
- Presentation regarding the basic layout, 3D design and modeling of any industry
- Insights about the establishment and development of the industries right from its foundation stone to its final mature stage
- Elaborative description about the various circumstances to be kept in mind during setting up of any industry like location, labour and their welfare, resource availability, cheap and quality production, etc
- Discussion on the basic necessities of laying out of any industry
While coming towards the end of session he drew the attention every person present in the auditorium with his smart 3D design and modeling of a factory and workplace which was customisable in all ways. He showed many clips to the students in context to working with the designing software.
The whole session was very useful and appreciable which ended with huge applause from all the students and faculty members. The program was conducted by the mechanical dept. Students and Mr. V.R. Mishra, HOD of Mechanical department.
