The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has released the admit cards for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2015. The examination is scheduled to take place on May 5 and 6, 2015. Candidates who have registered for the exam can start downloading their admit cards at the earliest!

Steps to download:

• Visit the official website. (Click Here)
• Fill in your application number, Date of birth and other required details.
• Submit the same.
• Your Admit Card will appear.

Once the card is downloaded, ensure that all the details in it are correct. For any inaccuracy or flaw in printed information, immediately contact to the board.Emphasis will be on Photograph and Signature. Make sure that these two are clear and apt. Candidates will also have to carry an ID proof, as uploaded during application filling. The ID must have a valid photograph and signature.

It is mandatory to carry WBJEE Admit Card to the exam centre. Candidates failing to do so would be prohibited from writing the exam. Admit card will also carry a unique roll number, which will be allotted to each and every candidate. Roll number will be required to check the result or apply for counselling.

Exam Pattern:

The question paper would contain multiple choice questions. The Mathematics paper will remain a 100 marks paper. The Biological Sciences paper will be a 150 marks paper. The Physics and Chemistry papers will be combined to a single 100 marks paper with 50 marks each for Physics and Chemistry.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates would be selected for counselling and allotment on the basis of marks obtained in the West Bengal JEE 2015 Exam. Other crucial factors involved are reservation norms, availability of seats, categorical rank, etc.

Counselling Process:

Counselling will take place once the result of WBJEE 2015 is declared. Applicants would be informed about the counselling schedule according to their merit ranking score and availability of seats in that course. If in case there are vacant seats in previous rounds of counselling, additional rounds will be conducted.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed in the year 1962 for the purpose of holding Common Entrance Examinations for the Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in the State of West Bengal. It offers courses like BE / B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Pharm and MBBS / BDS offered in different Universities / Colleges in West Bengal.

WBJEE 2015 Result will be published in the first week of June at the official website. The result can be downloaded from the website by filling the roll number or application number and submitting.
