Youth Entrepreneurship Development at MIT Auragabad

On May 12, 2015, Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT) Aurangabad signed a Letter of Cooperation (LOC) with Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) Aurangabad cluster. As the first initiative, the awareness session on 'Youth Entrepreneurship Development' was organized at MIT Aurangabad. 

The BYST Aurangabad cluster team members, Dr. Vijay Pagare, Cluster Head - BYST Aurangabad Region, Mr Sachin Adsare - BYST Regional coordinator (DY. Director), Western Region, Mrs Poonam Singh - Stage 3 officer, Mr. Satyajit - Cluster Head were present for the session. 

During the seminar session, Dr. Vijay Pagare had addressed to the gatheringand described in detail about BYST. He expressed that in India there is tremendous need of turning jobb seekers into job creators. BYST is keen on working with young people in the age group of 18-35 years, who are either unemployed or underemployed.

BYST invites individuals with sound imaginative business idead, along with the will and determination to succeed. Dr. Pagare had also expressed that, BYST take on applicants without asking for financial down payments or collaterals. 

BYST follows the 'Guru Shishya' tradition where the teacher not only teaches, but guides and helps to develop the disciple. The Mentor gives personalized advice, maintains regular contact with the business, monitors progress, and helps in solving problems and in developing business. The interested professionals (Mentors), in turn, get a wide range of first-hand business experience and the satisfaction of helping disadvantaged youth. BYST supports ventures both in the manufacturing and servicing sector, turning job seekers into job creators.

Dr. Santosh Bhosle- Principal, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, Dr. Nilesh Patil-Vice Principal (Academics), Marathwada Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, Prof. Sachin Lomte –Training and Placement Officer, MIT(T), Aurangabad and Prof. Sandeep Patil - Training and Placement Officer, MIT(E) , more than hundred students and faculties were present for this awareness session.
