Lucknow Christian College conducted its annual fest Zeitgeist'14 from January 28-31, 2014 with fervour. The essence of the word ‘Zeitgeist’ proved its true significance when this year’s college fest celebrated the best spirits of all times & gave the most beautiful memories to cherish forever.
One of the oldest inter-college cultural events of the country always creates a buzz around the city. This time the three day annual cultural festival organised by the cultural society of the 152-year old Lucknow Christian College saw a huge participation from more than 50 colleges from the city.
The event became a huge success under the leadership & co-operation of Dr. D.A.Harrison (Principal,Lucknow ChristianCollege),The Convenor:Dr.S.K.Vikram & Mr.Kaushik Mitra,President Shahid Alam & Mr.Fakhrul Hasan ‘Chand’ for his valuable contributions to this college.
The event tagline was “Come celebrate the spirit of our times” justifies the college’s centuries old heritage. It still signifies the college motto of “Omnia Ad Dei Gloriam”-All to the glory of God.
Event hosted competitions like Quiz, Debate, Just-A-Minute, Drama, Singing, Dancing etc. Inspite of a neck-to-neck competition given by various institutions, the host Lucknow Christian College lifted the final winning trophy of Zeitgeist-2014 with the most number of wins.

Rangoli-making competition:
Under the charge of Dr. (Mrs.)Nomita Gowan, the Rangoli Making competition was first to be conducted. The topic given to the contestants was of ‘Female Foeticide’. The eye-catching rangoli patterns got everyone’s attention.

The second day of the Zeitgeist began at 09:00 AM in the morning. The first segment of the day was of Dance which made everyone want to groove on the music.
