Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Currently known as an Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies & Research (AIACTR). Institute is shaping efficient & effective professionals for the various industries. Institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU). The institute came into existence in 2001 with 30 intakes each in ECE & CSE branch. The well designed campus of the college makes learning favourable for the learners. The foundation Stone of the new campus was laid by the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi Mrs. Sheila Dixit on 24th May 2006. The objective of the institute is to develop scientific skills of the learners and makes them technical expert in their respective fields.
Ambedkar Institute of Technology classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well equipped with all modern audio-visual instruments like projectors, whiteboards, Wi-Fi connectivity and Public Addressing Systems. The facilities make learning conducive for the students and provide more practical knowledge about their programmes.
The college has a state-of-art computer laboratory equipped with 60 P-IV nodes on LAN system with free internet access through 512 Kbps broadband facility.
The library of the college is well stocked with a large collection of books, reference volumes, technical and scientific and periodicals journals & E-learning materials are available. In paper collection college library has CD & DVD of various programmes.
