Kalasalingam University, formerly known as Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering (AKCE) was started in a humble way, by Kalasalingam and Anandam Ammal Charities in 1984. The college offer Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology and P.G courses. The University is a quiet retreat, away from the distractions and disturbances of a large and modern city, ideal for concentrated study. Shielded on four sides by Nature's ever green slopes, the grass so finest and providing a welcoming green carpet, each season has a special message to say and each morning has a special greet to give.

The Vice-chancellor is the Ex-Officio Warden of all hostels and he is assisted by Deputy Wardens and Assistant Wardens in the day to day running of the hostels.

Placement

Kalasalingam University has a dynamic Placement cell .A Committee is constituted to cultivate the placement opportunity, containing the Placement Officer, the Trainer, the Faculties and the Student Coordinators. Advisory group assumes the part as a representing assortment of the placement cell. This Committee is in charge of the working procedure of the placement cell like giving chance to Part Time/ Full Time/ internship jobs in reputed organization to qualified understudies.
