Basic Teacher's Training College, IASE University, Unit of Gandhi Vidya Mandir started in 1953 with TTC course. Today, it is reckoned as India's premiere institute of Education, facilitating teachers' training from pre-primary to doctoral stage. It also bears the additional special charge to improve the quality of teaching at all levels, through specific courses devised for training of in-service teachers.
