Bihar National College, Patna aims at preparing the students as a noble, responsible, cultured, disciplined and self-reliant citizens with dedication towards national duties as well as moral values through modern teaching techniques for general and professional courses as stipulated by University Grants Commission. The college vision is to build an egalitarian society based on justice, freedom and harmony through our teacher-trainees, extension service and research. The college imparts modern quality education in the faculties of Science, commerce, humanities and Arts at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
There is a Placement Cell in the college with a separate Office. The Placement Cell has been actively seeking the cooperation of various multinational companies and several such companies have conducted placement interviews with high success rate. This Placement Cell is helped by the University Employment and Guidance Bureau. In recent past, various national and multinational companies under campus placement programme have selected quite a good number of candidates from Patna University including several from B N College as well.
