Biraja Mahila Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1980 in the name of Goddess Biraja, the presiding deity of the place with an intention to provide higher education to women students of the locality as well as the nearby areas. The goal of the college is to equip the women students with innovative ideals so that they can embark the area with new dimension facing the challenge of the society.
