C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology (CAHCET) was established in the year 1998. The college has been approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It is accredited by NBA, ISO 9001-2000 certified. The college had to its credit two additional courses - B.Tech-Informational Technology and B.E-Electronics communication engineering. In 2006-07, the intake of students in E.C.E and C.S.E department was increased from 60 to 90. Two PG courses, viz MBA and M.E Applied Electronics were also started in 2006-07.
