Centre of Advanced Study in Sanskrit (CASS) is an independent research oriented Department in the University of Pune for training scholars and promoting higher studies in Sanskrit learning. This is the first and oldest UGC Centre of Advanced Study in Sanskrit in the whole country.

  • The Department has a state-of-art computer laboratory equipped with 60 P-IV nodes on LAN system with free internet access through 512 Kbps broadband facility.

  • The college has a well-stocked library with 3000 books on Sanskrit literature and 40 journals

Hostel

  • The hostel facility is granted to the students of the University strictly on the basis of merit. The number of seats for each department depends on the department size.

ExtraCurricular

  • Dissemination of Traditional Knowledge through multi-disciplinary Refresher Courses. Engaged in relating Traditional Knowledge domains to contemporary knowledge-systems.
