Centre for Women's Studies objective is sensitizing students/faculty and people of women's issues is through organizing annual short duration certificate courses and lectures-discussion by inviting scholars and activist from outside Aligars, essays and slogan writing and poster making competition.

  • All the classrooms of the institute are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • All the laboratories are well equipped with latest instruments. The institute has five Desk-top Computers (IBM Intel Pentium 4 with TFT monitors) and one Laptop (IBM ThinkPad P4 Processor). All the five computers and Laptop are linked through networking and have internet facilities through Broad Band Connection (BSNL).

Library

  • The institute library now has 1549 volumes on its shelves and subscribes to seven Indian and six foreign journals. The Library is open to all students and teachers, including undergraduate students of Women's Studies courses.
