Chandigarh College of Pharmacy is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, and approved by AICTE. The college offers Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) and Master of Pharmacy course.
CGC offers two-year full-time degree approved by Govt, of Punjab and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The M.Sc. programme in pharmaceutical chemistry comprises four semesters of course work. The first two semesters provide students the relevant knowledge of chemistry required in the drug development, in drug delivery and in study of mechanism of drug action. Application of analytical techniques and research methodology is covered in the second year of the course. Chandigarh College of Pharmacy aims at giving excellence in research. With an upsurge in employment markets in the Pharma sector in Northern India CGC aims at catering to the industry.
